What services do you offer for children?

We provide a range of mental health services tailored for children and teens, including individual counseling, group therapy, and family support. Our focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment to help young clients express themselves and work through their challenges effectively.

How can I support my child during therapy?

Supporting your child during therapy involves open communication, patience, and encouragement. It’s essential to listen to their feelings, validate their experiences, and reinforce the skills they learn in sessions. Being involved in their therapeutic journey can significantly enhance their progress.

What should I expect during the first session?

During the first session, we will conduct an initial assessment to understand your child’s needs and concerns. This includes discussing their background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. The session aims to build rapport and create a comfortable space for your child to share their thoughts and feelings.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Yes, we accept various insurance plans, and we encourage you to check with your provider regarding coverage for mental health services. If you have questions about payment options or sliding scale fees, please feel free to contact our office for more information.

How do I know if my child needs counseling?

Signs that your child may benefit from counseling include persistent sadness, anxiety, behavioral changes, or difficulty coping with life transitions. If you notice these signs or if your child expresses a desire to talk about their feelings, seeking professional help can be a positive step toward their well-being.

What age groups do you serve?

We serve children and teens aged 5 to 18, providing age-appropriate therapeutic approaches tailored to their developmental needs.
